Summer 2010

I had an extremely good summer. It began running some DoE trips in the Lake District and Snowdonia. This was followed up with a 3 week trip to Ecuador to climb some volcanoes and spend time in the jungle. Unfortunately, we did not summit Cotopaxi due to the conditions (which were minging).

N. Wales and Scotland was on the agenda next. A brief stint was spent climbing with Jon, then two former students. We managed some cracking routes. My family then joined me in Scotland - initially in Gairloch (where it rained constantly), then Fort Bill (where my boys got up the Ben!) and St Andrews. All in all, a great time.

Photos can be found in the relevant sections of the 'expeditions' folder.
